I have heard that for an adorably perfect baby I have apparently fatter than normal feet. Eh, maybe all the other babies just have scrawny feet?
Now that I am walking Mommy and Daddy seem to think that I need to wear these things they call shoes. I call them Piggy Prisons.
Seriously, there can be nothing good about these things except the fact they tickle like crazy when the parents put them on me.
I deal with the socks, but up until recently no one could find shoes that could actually stay on my chunky monkey feet.
Then Grandma and Grandpa had to send these.
They fit, and it takes me all of like 5 minutes to get them off. Not fast enough, so I have developed a detailed Piggy Prison Escape Plan Endurace Training Schedule. I kick off training tomorrow and will hopefully shave 4 minutes and 55 seconds off of my shoe-kick-off within the next two weeks. Yeah, its an intense plan, but I can handle it.

Lets Go Devils!
So I had a major milestone on Saturday. I thought my Mom was gonna cry, but she held it together pretty well and didn't totally humiliate me.
My first ASU Tailgater!
What more can I say? I'll just let you enjoy the pictures in awe of me and this new development in my life.

the 3 Bubbas
When my Gramps and TT were in Hawaii this summer they bought three shirts from a place called Bubba Gump: one for me, one for Micah, and one for Emma.
The reason? My Daddy calls his brother Bubba. When Emma was still cooking in Auntie Mel's tummy a joke started that she was a little Bubbette.
Cut to my Mommy's parents being in Hawaii, knowing these stories and they see these shirts. One for a baby boy that says "Little Bubba" and they thought to their grandparenty selves "Oh Kellan would look sooo cute in that! And his Uncle Bubba will think its funny!" But then they saw it in pink! And it said "Little Bubbette" instead of Bubba! And they said to themselves "Oh Uncle Bubba's little girl needs one of those!" So they got me and Emma "little Bubba" shirts, found Micah one that he would like, and we brought them to Iowa with us ...
Super adorable in our Bubba gear, aren't we? :)
Thanks Gramps and TT!

There's a lot of photo op's in Iowa!
So if you have been reading my blog you know that I went to Iowa a little bit ago. It was a lot of fun, and my parents, aunts, uncles, and grandparents took about eight billion pictures of me, my brother and my cousin Emma. Here are just some of the pictures so you can see how the trip went ...
We went to this orchard on the first day. It was fun, the drive? Not so much. I introduced my Iowa fam to the fact that I do NOT like driving in the dark at all on that trip. But, we had fun for most of it. I got to ride a horse made out of tires and we took some goofy pictures in this sign thing.
I finally got to meet my new cousin, Emma! She's still just a baby, not a big kid like me, cuz she's only 3 months old to my mature 6 months. But it turns out we like the same things. We both enjoy eating, being held, and ceiling fans. We also both got a lot of spoiling done to us (so did my big brother) on this trip.
Even though we got along we did have some minor disagreements. Mommy doesn't have it, but there is apparently a picture of our first fight somewhere ... she totally started it. But here you can see we were laying on a blankie and they were taking the millionth picture of us because we had these penguin clothes on (Auntie Amanda loves penguins and bought us the clothes) and we were bored ...
And here you can see us in the Halloween clothes our grandparents bought us. I think its a little unfair to make us change clothes so much all for the sake of pictures, but the adults can't help themselves. They are weak to our baby-cuteness and have to do strange things as a result. I was kinda weirded out that they stuck us in apple buckets, but right after this picture was taken they let me try to bite an apple and gave Emma a bottle, so we were willing to work with them for about 14 seconds.
My brother and I got some new Iowa Hawkeyes stuff. This is a little big so I will be able to wear it in AZ when it cools off.
I got to play in leaves. Dead ones. We don't do this in Arizona. My grandparents have a picture of both Micah and I in the leaves, I will share that one when we get a copy!
Realized my parents still need my help ...
Took a picture with the whole family ...
No one noticed it, but Emma was hiding in that picture above! Lil stinker! My parents and brother took a picture with me too, but I was too cold to do any more after this!
Had to get the grandparents with the grandkids!
All in all it was a great trip, and I will probably have more pictures to share later with you.

nice place ya got here
My Gramps had a birthday over the weekend, so we went out to eat.I should say, the big people ate. I got held and teased with solid food. I really want to eat food but the doctor says I should wait. I say we should be rebels and ignore the doctor -- pass the calzone Daddy!
Anywhoo, this nice man at the restaurant felt bad since my family starves me {Editors Note: Spinato's actually gives all babies a shirt on their first trip in to their restaurant. Clever marketing if you ask me. ~Kellan's Mom} so he gave me a shirt. Not that I can eat a shirt (trust me, I tried) and feel better, but at least the guy tried.
And you gotta admit, I look dang good in it!
So if you want to get your pizza on, like I so desperately do, go there. Tell them I sent you.

eighteen weeker handsome stud
I got dressed up for this one. I wore my spiffy Polo outfit my Aunt Cathie and Uncle Dale bought me. Don't I look like one handsome preppy smarty pants?
Now Mommy wanted to get more of me in the picture, and ... well ... I just had to dance a bit ...
So after messing with her for a bit, I did humor her with this nice smile, but we decided to try more pictures another day.

I heart the Peacemakers :)
In continuing with my regular awesomeness, check out these threads!
Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers are one of my favorite bands. Mommy sings them to me bunches and we all listen to them in the car and at home, so my Auntie Raychel and Uncle Kyle got me this super cool onsie.

oy! another doctor visit!
Anyway, here is me at the doctor, we had a hard time taking the picture and I am starting to make my angry face here. The doctor prescribed something else for my head, more goop. Hopefully this goop finishes off what the last goop couldn't cuz I am rather sick of having a goopy head. She told Mommy to keep putting the gloves on me (I stopped talking to her at that point) and said that I am growing into a very handsome big boy (I smiled at her for that, but still will not be on speaking terms with anyone who will reinforce the idea that the gloves are good).
She didn't want to change my reflux meds because she wants t see what the tests at the hospital say. We go for those on August 3rd, Mommy and Daddy say its a good thing but I am not sure. I heard them talking and am pretty sure they sad something about not eating for three hours ... that is an eternity! No one could possibly go three whole hours without eating, right? Right?!?
I weigh 16.2 lbs now, what a rock star! They were all impressed with me for this, I must say I stun even myself with the awesomeness here. We go back for my 4 month old check up on August 16th so we will see how tall I am then and how much more I weigh, I am aiming for 17+ personally.
Last, but not least, here is me in my awesome Sun Devil attire. I have some Hawkeye stuff too, so I will have to get a picture of me in that also so you can see another handsome shot of me.

I am batman
Now I know my Mom is going to have to bring up the whole thing about how big I am getting. See, my awesome Bat-gear is made for 3 month old babies. I am however not a 3 month old baby. In fact, in this picture I was only barely 6 weeks old. Sweet! Have to give a shout out to Auntie Mel and Uncle Bubba for the cool clothes! Now on to other important business, I am being raised in a very strict house. Mommy and Daddy argue over whether I will be a Cubs or Red Sox fan (totally a Sox fan BTW, I just appreciate the Cubbies - ha ha, Mom gets to type the blog!). But either way they are raising me with morals and standards, and thus my exposure to the Evil Empire known in this house as the "Yuckees" is limited. So here is me chillin' with my Gramps as we watch the Sox beat the Yuckees, and just so you know they actually swept the series! Yeah!
